The Best Vegan Marble Brownies
Imagine sinking your teeth into a soft, fudgy brownie that not only satisfies your sweet cravings, but also supports your healthy lifestyle. These Vegan Marble Protein Brownies are a game-changer in the realm of plant-based desserts. I am truly in love with these.
The ingredients you'll need:
(makes approximately 8 slices)
For the dark brownie part:
30g peanut butter
12g melted coconut oil
25g maple syrup
170g soya milk
80g whole grain flour
25g raw cocoa powder
20g vanilla/chocolate vegan protein powder
30g chocolate chips of choice
pinch of salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
For the Light brownie part:
10g melted coconut oil
20g maple syrup
120g soya milk
76g whole grain flour
20g vanilla vegan protein powder
30g chocolate chips
pinch of salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
The procedure:
Step 1. Prepare a big mixing bowl as well as a food scale. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees celsius.
Step 2. Start with mixing the ingredients for the dark part of brownies by
combining measured peanut butter, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, soy milk. Mix into a smooth paste.
Step 3. Add in measured flour, cocoa powder, chocolate chips, protein powder, salt and baking powder. Slowly combine everything together until smooth dough.
Step 4. In a separate bowl, mix all dry ingredients for the light part of the brownies, then add in melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and soy milk. Again, combine into a smooth mixture.
Step 5. Prepare baking form (I used size 20x20cm) and line with baking paper.
Step 6. Pour both mixtures over each other into the baking form.
Step 7. Bake for approximately 35-40 minutes. After 35 minutes, do a toothpick taste - if it's still slightly sticky, bake for 5-10 more minutes.
