Why To Make Caramelised Cinnamon Pears?
When autumn arrives, all desserts that mention anything caramelised - are an absolute MUST! There's just something so comforting about caramelised apples/ pears with loads of cinnamon and maple syrup. These Caramelised Cinnamon Pears are such a light and refreshing seasonal treat, that I'd say, is quite underrated. So let's change that!
Ingredients You'll Need
(For single serve recipe)
1 medium ripe pear
1 cup of water
1 tsp cinnamon
1-2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
For caramelising layer:
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp melted butter
2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
pinch of salt
To serve with: Extra cinnamon, almond butter and granola of choice.

The Procedure:
Step 1. Cut your pear in half and place onto a medim sized frying pan or in a pot. Pour over approximately a cup of water, sprinkle with cinnamon and add a splash of honey or maple syrup.
Step 2. Bring into boiling and keep it bubbling closed underneath a lid on a medium heat for approximately 15 minutes.
Step 3. Transfer your semi cooked pears into an air fryer.
Step 4. In a small bowl, combine all ingredients for your caramelising layer and spread all over your pears.
Step 5. Air fry on 180 degrees celsius for approximately 20-25 minutes, until nicely soft and brown.
