I mean, whooo doesn't love a good cheesecake? I myself am a huge cheesecake fan and I can truly never say no to it, whenever it's offered. These High Protein Cheesecake Jars are just such a perfect cheesecake-like treat, but a little more nourishing & higher in protein comparing to a regular one. Which makes it a perfect, day-to-day snack or a treat to have prepared in your fridge. They literally take about 5 minutes to make and last up to 3 days in the fridge. They are dairy-free and vegan and the range of flavor varieties, that you can make, are endless.

Why To Make These High Protein Cheesecake Jars?

High Protein Cheesecake Jars are a great choice for anyone wanting to add more protein to their diet without losing out on flavor or missing out. Here is no such a thing like missing out on anything. At least on my page :). These cheesecake jars are soo creamy and flavorful. They're nicely light and super nourishing.

These jars contain approximately 20 grams of protein per serving (depending on your jar size/ portions), making them ideal for post-workout snack or as a quick breakfast on your busiest mornings.

What's more, you can easily customize them according to your cravings and ingredients that you have at home. Whether you love classic vanilla, zesty lemon, or chocolate, the possibilities are endless.

Key Ingredients

To make your High Protein Cheesecake Jars, you’ll need a handful of simple yet nutritious ingredients. Here’s what you should prepare:

  • Plant-Based Cream Cheese Or A Thick Yogurt: This serves as the creamy base of your cheesecake. Choose a brand that’s dairy-free and high in protein, such as Sojade, Alpro, or any of your favorite brands.

  • Vegan Protein Powder: This ingredient adds a healthy boost of protein and helps create the ideal creamy texture. It's so important to use a vegan protein, which has a good texture and flavor! Otherwise it will not turn out great. Here is a link to mine. (-10% FITMINGOKRIS)

  • Maple Syrup: A natural sweetener, maple syrup adds the perfect touch of sweetness without the refined sugars. (But it's not necessary to use)

  • Lemon Juice: Fresh lemon juice is key for that classic cheesecake tang.

  • Crushed Weetabix or Granola: I like to use Weetabix mixed with plant based milk for a quick & tasty cheesecake base. Blended granola will work as well, the texture will be more crunchy.

  • Frozen Fruit: For toppings, I like to use frozen raspberries, simply heated up and mashed with a fork. Any frozen fruit of your choice willl work.

The Ingredients:

Makes approximately 3 smaller jars

For base:

  • 3 crushed Weetabix

  • 100ml soy milk (Or more if needed)

For cheesecake:

  • 350g vegan cream cheese/ yogurt

  • 25g vanilla vegan protein powder

  • pinch of salt

  • splash of maple syrup (not necessary)

  • 1/2 lemon juice

For fruit layer:

  • 250g frozen raspberries

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar

  • Splash of lemon juice

The Procedure:

Step 1. In a big mixing bowl, crumble your Weetabix and mix with soy milk. The mixture shouldn't be too watery!

Step 2. In a separate bowl, combine: cream cheese, protein powder, lemon juice and a pinch of salt. Mix into a smooth cream with no lumps.

Step 3. Heat up your frozen raspberries either on a stove in a pot or more quickly, in a microwawe. Once defrosted, add in chia seeds, coconut sugar and a splash of lemon juice. Let it sit on a side for 5 mins.

Step 4. Layer your cheesecake into a glass jars by adding your weetabix mixture, cream part and top with raspberry mixture.

Step 5. Enjoy immediately or store in the fridge in an airtight glass jars for up to 3 days.

Meal Prep Made Easy

High Protein Cheesecake Jars are perfect for meal prep. Simply make several jars at the beginning of the week for healthy snacks, whenever cravings hit.

Storing them in an airtight glass jars keeps them fresh and portable, making them easy to grab and go. Enjoy them at work, after a workout, or as part of your breakfast.

Customization Ideas

One of the best parts of High Protein Cheesecake Jars is how easy they are to customize. Here are some of my favorite flavors!

  • White Chocolate Matcha: All it changes is the top layer. I simply melt some white chocolate and mix in ceremonial matcha powder.

  • Chocolate: Stir in cocoa powder for a chocolate cheesecake variation.

  • Peanut Butter Cream: Mix some peanut butter with maple syrup and a pinch of salt for a delicious PB topping.
